Step 1: Write a clear specification
A good enquiry saves days. Tell us the produce line, the varieties or grades you want, the weekly volume, how it must be packed and labelled, and the destination airport.
If you are unsure about grades or pack sizes, say so — we will send you the standard options used in your market and you can pick from those.

Step 2: Get a quotation and agree terms
We confirm availability with our vetted growers and send pricing, usually on FOB Nairobi or CIF terms to your airport. The quote states pack specification, minimum volume, lead time and payment terms.
First-time buyers normally start with a trial shipment of one or two pallets so you can inspect quality before committing to a weekly programme.

Step 3: Sourcing, grading and packing
Produce is harvested to your specification, graded at the packhouse and cooled quickly. Flowers are bunched and sleeved, herbs are punneted or bunched and labelled, chillies are sorted by colour, length and firmness.
We photograph each consignment before it is sealed so you can see exactly what left Nairobi.
Step 4: Documentation and compliance
Every export consignment travels with a KEPHIS phytosanitary certificate, commercial invoice, packing list and airway bill. Where your market requires extra certificates or specific labelling, we prepare that too.
You receive scanned copies before the flight departs, so your clearing agent can prepare in advance.
Step 5: Air freight from Nairobi
Consignments are booked on scheduled passenger and freighter services out of JKIA and delivered into the airline cold room the same day they are packed. Most African destinations arrive within 24 hours; Europe, the Gulf and Central Asia typically within 24–48 hours.
We share the flight number and airway bill so you can track arrival and plan collection.
Step 6: Arrival, feedback and repeat orders
Inspect on arrival and send us photos of anything that does not match specification. We use that feedback to adjust grading, packing or harvest timing for the next shipment.
Once quality is settled, most buyers move to a fixed weekly or twice-weekly programme with agreed volumes and prices.

- It depends on the produce line and destination. Herbs and chillies can start at a few hundred kilograms; flowers are quoted by box. Send us your target volume and we will tell you honestly whether it works economically.
